"My inspiration for my portion of the shoot was the bridge between the worlds of the salon and the barbershop. We have a tendency to place a gender on a haircut and that creates limits on what we can achieve. The clipper is just a paintbrush and without the artist it has no effective purpose. We give the clipper life and the more we can venture outside of our comfort zone the more we find personal and professional growth.  "
